Tuvalu, Whitupu Island

Vaitupu Island is the largest atoll of the Tuvalu Archipelago in the Pacific. Vaitupu is a low-lying coral island, in the center of which is a lagoon surrounded by reefs.

Coconut palms dominate the vegetation on the atoll.
