French Polynesia, Orohena Mountain

Orohena Mountain is located in the South Pacific on the island of Tahiti. Its height is 2241 meters above sea level. This is the highest point of the island and all of French Polynesia. Orohena – extinct volcano.

One of the attractions of the mountain are the lava pipes – channels that were formed during the uneven cooling of lava flows flowing from the slopes of the volcano. Climbing the mountain is considered quite difficult.
