Fiji, Sri Siva Subramania Temple
The complex of the Hindu temple Sri Siva-Subramania is the trademark of Nandi and consists of three towers. The first tower is dedicated to Murugan, the deity of compassion and love.
The second tower is dedicated to the god Ganesh – the patron of travelers and merchants. He is depicted with an elephant head.
The third tower is dedicated to Shiva’s wife, Minakshi. The temple was built at the beginning of the century by Hindu-builders who worked in local resorts.
