Fiji, Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park

Sigatoka-Send-Dunz National Park was founded in 1989 and is located near Sigatoka on the island of Viti Levu.

In the 80s of the 20th century, a group of archaeologists discovered ancient burial places of people who lived more than four thousand years ago.

The park has a museum where you can see artifacts from excavations, exhibits telling about the history of this region.

Another attraction of the park is the magnificent dunes, inhabited by many unique birds.
