Ecuador, Quito Cathedral

The cathedral of Quito was built in 1545. Three-nave temple in the traditional style is decorated with a single bell tower.

In the cathedral there are a lot of chapels in the side naves, they are decorated with works of local artists and sculptors. The main altar is made of gold and has both Moorish and Baroque decorations.
